What do you love most about St. Paul?

We want to ask you what you love about our city.

We are interested in people, places, events, yesterday, today, or tomorrow.
Whatever comes to mind when you think fondly of our city.

While the blood moon formed over the near East Side last night, the Mayor 4 Life campaign was hard at it, putting the finishing touches on our plan for the people of St. Paul.

Many ideas were advanced, about affordable housing, parking, snow removal, curb recycling, standardized tests and other matters. Agreement came slowly. Many Pioneers broke their pencils out of frustration with the intractability of the issues, and the opposition we expect to face in the coming year.

Then, just before midnight, we coalesced around a single principle: No Compromises. We determined that we would never back down in the face of powerful interests, that our primary allegiance was always and would always be to the working people of St. Paul.

And that's where we stand as the week gets underway. Be on this fall the lookout for the publication of our official platform.

We pledge that it will truly be ... a humdinger.

Danny's face figures prominently on the cover of the most recent St. Paul Magazine. It is not an announcement of his candidacy for the election in 2017. But it sure suggests something major is about to happen. Watch this space for details!
